Glendye is made for exploring.  Do it on horseback, on a mountain bike, in your running shoes or in walking boots.  We welcome everyone here, and whilst we don't have the facilities to provide you with a horse or rent you a mountain bike we are more than happy for you to bring your own.  All we ask is that you follow the Outdoor Access Code, pay special attention during lambing season, and let us know if you are bringing a large party to the estate.

We have regular visits from local orienteering clubs and Duke Of Edinburgh parties.  The Clachnaben Hill Race is held annually.

Wild camping is permitted, please check with the Estate Office prior to your visit - Glendye is a sporting estate and the keepers are out on the ground all year round so it's helpful for them to know your whereabouts.  We can also let you know the best spots to visit...

Current Fire Risk:            HIGH

Please refrain from lighting camp fires and report any wild fires to the emergency services
